Deciding what to wear for the first day of anything has always been more than a little hard for me, so devising this outfit took what some would call an unreasonable percentage of my morning today. Lately, the more vital I perceive an outfit to be, the more I revert to basics, so of course I defaulted to a black shirt and something/anything white/silky. My sartorial comfort zone could not be more limited. A word of warning-were I able to redo the last 24 hours, I would definitely have chosen either a slightly less see-through shirt or a much more flesh-toned bra. Or maybe both. Remember that for any impending orientations you may have.
A random conversational snippet from one of those equitably uncomfortable first-meeting conversations:
"So...what are you majoring in?"
Me: "Oh, art"
"Yeah, I could tell"
Actually, this exact conversation may have happened multiple times within a 5-hour time span-I wasn't aware I was that transparent.
