TAKE ME TO A HAPPY PLACE
In times of sorrow and pain, sometimes we just want to be invisible and basically be out of reach. Sometimes we don’t even want to mingle with others and just be alone. One thing that I do when this situation comes is to always imagine myself being transported to a place where everything is so relaxing, calm and peaceful.
One of the places I always imagine myself back is in my hometown (Baguio City). Picture this: Surreal pine tree and sunflower-filled surroundings, fresh air breeze and cool climate, where you can smell nature up-close and watch the blue sky as you lay down in the grass. It is the place where I was born, a place where I can have some peace of mind, where I can walk all alone or just lay down all day without the stress of the big city.
Sometimes, we need to do this in order to be sane in this fast-changing society and survive in this toxic environment. Sometimes we just need to be in a place where happiness can’t be described; a place where everything is always good and fine; just a happy place … whatever and wherever it may be.
