The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Last Saturday, my daughter went to a teens' fair and I went with her to chaperone. Everyone was required to come dressed in neon. Since I didn't want to go overboard with the bright, traffic-halting colors, I opted to have just one piece in my outfit that screams NEON -- which was my neon green skirt. Everything else was just to compliment that color. To make my look more mature, I made sure that there was a touch of black somewhere (going to an event where you know you'd be surrounded by hundreds of teens doesn't mean you have to look like one). Black always makes your look more grownup and sophisticated. The top that I got was a perfect match for my shoes since both had cerulean, magenta and black in them. Then I used a black wrist clutch bag to tie the two pieces together.
