Earlier today, I had a “not-so-corporate” business meeting. It was to discuss the details of an upcoming event that I am organizing. Since the meeting was about a project that’s supposed to be fun and festive, I decided to wear something that was a bit more colorful than the usual black that we often see worn by many to business meetings. So while I still made sure that I conveyed elegance, sophistication and professionalism by using black in my outfit, I managed to keep my aura lively and more approachable by the use of white, and an extra dose of "oomph" by adding some red.
I put together an ensemble which I considered to be “smart casual” yet still stylish and refined (and definitely worthy-of-respect). And just to reiterate that “I-still-mean-business”, I stuck to gold and silver for my accessories, handpicking pieces that were more subdued and classic in terms of design and style.
