Mixing almost tuxedo upper-body wear with the most distressed and tiny of shorts is fun in a way that makes people stare uncomfortably like in those dreams when you get to school and realize that you aren't wearing any pants, but considering that my speech class presentations are given from behind a completely opaque, waist-high desk, it kind of makes sense. This sleeveless blazer vest thing is another one of my Portland purchases and is quickly becoming one of my new favorite things to throw on over silk pieces. Also, it helps just about any outfit look like a little more effort was expended than the half-blind closet riffling that usually takes place in my mornings.
On another note, a time-recording assignment for school is slowly revealing how purposeless most of my activities are. Disproportionately large amounts of my time are spent doing things like "trying to get to that dusty road on that one hill" or " seeing if the squirrels will eat the rest of the cereal that my dad left at my place." Must try to be a more useful person in the future.
