So this isn’t actually what I wore today, but I just couldn’t muster up the courage to weather the flash floods that incited shocked screams all across the city this afternoon and ruined my day-long plan to shoot in the empty lot near the 101. Even with the rain, I was still hoping to get some shots of the look indoors, but a late meet up and lack of foresight left me looking...less than camera ready (think show poodle that’s fallen into a river). Plus, a tragic, Fine Arts Hall to car dash through the rain caused the strap on my rocco to more or less melt off and I’m still not quite sure how to exist without it. The world makes so much less sense right now, at least the part of my world that revolves around consumer products.
My attempt to remedy today’s wardrobe malfunctions and repeated soakings involved throwing on this Reverse dress, which has only appeared on this blog one too many times but never in it’s fully unveiled form, and walking around the outer edges of my room. The beanie was actually an accident, I put it on for some extra 60 degree chill protection this morning and kind of...forgot I was wearing it all day. Admittedly, not the most exciting of pictures.
