The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
While I was putting away my spring/summer clothes and bringing out fall/winter clothes, I noticed that I still had my old Old Navy leather skirt from eons ago- literally eons ago because I think i've had it since 2000 or something. now, that's old for something I didn't buy second hand or vintage. I was totally glad that I kept it though, cuz I remember not really knowing what to do with it when I first bought it (I remember buying it thinking it was a good deal, not because I liked the particular style or design- it was like $49.99?) but now that it's 2012 and all, I realize that it looks like a high waisted skirt which I'm into these days. Lesson learned: keep the ones that are made of durable materials i.e. leather, wool, cashmere and such eventhough the style may look outdated. Trends repeat and there will be a time when they look cool again.
