A child upon her birth does not know, that beneath life lies the mirth
In solitude she finds herself, being mocked on every turf.
And in these clouds of dark despair, lie flaws she might want to wear.
Then one day she hopes that death, might bring that freedom breath.
If only someone had cared enough, and warned her before it got too tough.
Though in these smouldering shadows the end is never near, but after sometime the journey gets clear.
So the fair maiden might bid farewell to unending pain, and afterwards from beyond realized it was all in vain.
This look is an ode to all those who lose while trying to fight against life and carries with it the message of renewed hope, change and the desire to live.
To create this dark vision of the look, I made the tulle skirt from an old kaftan and self stitched the corset. Then to add a bewitching spell I wore a necklace that was crafted using the tatting technique along with gloves that were sewn from stretchable lace fabric.
