I took the creepy doll route for Halloween. I love doing face paint and bizarre make-up so this was great fun. I kept my body simple and not too white to make the face the extra unsettling. The focus of the outfit is my vintage handmade dress - I stayed with a monochromatic theme. I wore knee high socks with white ribbons and Jeffrey Campbell platforms. Halloween is a great chance to show your dark side and explore different looks and styles that show the different facets of your personality. I love anime and dark retro styling. So I embraced that and in this instance I let my freak flag fly and had fun with it.
"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
- William Shakespeare
