I used to hear that if you wanted to look thinner, wear stripes that are vertical. But I'm one of those that don't adhere to certain "fashion rule". I love to wear horizontally striped tops. For me, tops with vertical or horizontal look fabulous. You can wear them whenever and however you like! Not only are you free to wear whatever you want, but stripes really do look good on all kinds of bodies! Trust me, I've seen lots of Plus-size fashion bloggers looking absolutely gorgeous on horizontal stripes . It's good to know that one of those many fashion “taboos” was proven wrong by these risk-taking fashion bloggers.
During our visit to Ton Nga Chang waterfall, I choose a horizontally striped top that work for me: fitted, low-neck and with puff sleeves. I paired it with my skinny jeans. I threw in my leopard print flats and other colorful accessories for a pattern mixed effect.
Next time, I'll make sure that I'll have fun pairing my striped top with an item other than my basic jeans.
