It was so much fun being Pinocchio for a night.

The clothes Pinocchio wears is somewhat similar to the pieces I already have in my closet.

The clothing pieces in this look were not purchased for the costume. The only things purchased were the gloves, red feather, and the blue ribbon for my fedora and shorts. The gloves were from the dollar store and the feather and ribbon were from Michaels. All cost under $7.

I had these red shorts from Zara that have been sitting in my closet for the whole summer. It wasn't used once. The yellow shirt was from Joe Fresh that I had bought back in summer as well. The fedora I've had for years. I borrowed the red suspenders from my boyfriend and the oxfords are from Aldo.

So with the red shorts I had them cuffed up to my thighs. Not too long but not to short either. I then took some of my blue ribbon and made the streak that Pinocchio has on the side of his shorts, I had them pinned from the inside of my shorts so that the pin doesn't show. I then took the rest of the ribbon and made the strip on my hat and added the feather exactly like Pinocchio's. I had put on double stick tape on my fedora then put the ribbon around it. The bow tie was a belt tie that I had with the silk shirt I have in my closet. And finally with the blush, I had used my aunts lip stick and smudged it.

And the coolest thing with this costume is that I threw my own style to it. I can totally make this to an outfit and not just a Halloween costume.
