Did you guys recognise me without my ginger hair? Ehe ^.^
Ah, this outfit was a bit of a nightmare to put together. I decided about a month ago that I wanted to be Morticia this Halloween- when Ella and I had just moved in to our flat, we had no TV or internet so we watched all our DVDs, and when we watched The Addams Family, I was instantly reminded how much I love Morticia's dress.
This dress was initially knee length, and not fitted at all, so I took it in, and added the lace sections to create the fishtail with this gorgeous spiderweb fabric I found. Sadly, after I'd sewn in the first two lace sections, the sewing machine refused to work for me anymore, so I had to sew all the other panels by hand D: so it took a lot longer than I thought it would!
Oh, and I have one leg crossed in front of the other, which is why it looks like I only have one leg under all the lace!
