The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
My relationship with floral dresses is a bit “love/hate” in nature. I always think they look amazing on other people but really feel out of place whenever I end up with one on my body. So I think this may be the only version I own. I love how it renders all existing bodily curves incomprehensible with its shapelessness and the ultra-thin spaghetti straps are just so 90s. Still. Whenever I wear it, I feel the need to scruff it up a little bit. Yesterday’s de-girl-ification took the form of an overabundance of accessories-knit beanie, spear necklace, western ankle boots, sunglasses. With the 20/20 benefit of hindsight I can honestly say that it was probably a little too much, especially considering that it was like, 80 degrees outside. Walking around with the equivalent of a sweater on my head was akin to having an overheating cat curled around my cranium all day but it did tone down the blatantness of my new hair just a touch. I intermittently paired all of these unrelated elements with a cropped denim Topshop jacket that I picked up in an excess of a few sized during a visit to Las Vegas last year. Also, does anyone else wish bar owners would push the term “saloon” just a little harder? No?
