The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Defaulted to a graphic tee today-of the muscle variety because that silhouette seems to dominate my wardrobe. I rescued my trusty Forever 21 skirt from an ever-growing pile of semi-dirty laundry and attempted to remedy the squeak that my once favorite (we have a bit of a complicated relationship now) shoes recently acquired with a pair of cable-knit socks. The sock strategy was a failure, but the extra cushioning made a day of trekking up and down California hills a little less blister-inducing so I’m considering wearing legwear with a little more frequency. In the meantime, the semi-initiated but mostly fantastical quest to find a successor for my well-worn Lucky Brands continues. Jeffrey Campbell has some inspiring creations of the ankle boot persuasion, of course. At the moment I’m partial to basically anything with a vaguely western vibe or cut-outs in any form, but lace-ups are also completely acceptable. And yeah, I get how schizophrenic my taste in footwear sounds.
