Cee F. - Eglise Saint-Ambroise // Jewelry Obsessed
HYPE 36

I remember distinctly when my obsession with jewelry began. It was my first Christmas working in retail, and a fussy customer who really didn’t want to spend any money asked me what type of jewelry I would recommend as a gift for someone my age. At that point, my jewelry box contained a simple silver necklace that had been a gift for my high school graduation and two pairs of very inexpensive earrings – hanging pink stars and green moons – that fit in well with my punk-without-trying-too-hard wardrobe of sale rack skinny jeans {I was ahead of my time} and Chuck Taylors. I picked up the first pair of earrings I say, blue and pink pavee gems from La Vie Parisienne by Catherine Popesco and suggested, “What about these?” The customer asked if I could try them on for her… and the second I put them in my ears, it was all over. The customer left empty-handed, and I wore the earrings for the rest of my shift, and then bought a similar pair the following week. La Vie Parisienne earrings still fill a big section of my jewelry box {in fact, I’m wearing a pair in these photos, although you can’t see much of them through my hair. Find out where to buy them here.}I love necklaces from Alexis Bittar {his current collection, in shades of black, silver and green, is divine.} The one accessory I’ve always coveted but never been able to find a perfect set of is stackable rings {although lately I’ve been looking at these a lot.} What accessories are on your wish list?

Nice style! I also read the whole story with great interest - it's so rare to find detailed stories about a look! As for the question at the end, I have so many accessories that I can hardly wear them all, so I just wear my favorites. I miss very much a pair of silver earrings my mom brought me from Istanbul, and I actually lost one in Vancouver :) Their design is on my wish list since then, but I doubt I will be able to find the same ever...
Wish you a nice day, and excuse my long comment :)
