I almost bought this lovely lavender and navy dress from Btssb when I was in SF, but the top wasn't lined so you could see a weird line across my boobs since it was light colored :( So I didn't get it, but it was super lovely and the colors were so nice together!

Oh goodness, I hate flaws in design like that. ;3; It sounds absolutely gorgeous. Baby and AatP really love playing around with colour combos sometimes and it's just great.

I've noticed that on a lot of Lolita stuff by Japanese brands. I think it's probably not noticeable if you have small boobs.... but for me it was a deal breaker. I'm not going to spend a few hundred on a dress that I then have to have altered. But it was super cute so I was sad. It worked out though, because then I went to Harajuku Hearts and bought the Royal Chocolate JSK in white and it is so pretty! I wouldn't have been able to afford that if I had bought the other dress so maybe it was fate!

I totally understand what you mean. =\ I can't buy a lot of AP stuff because I actually end up swimming in the clothes and I don't want to spend more money on a $300+ dress altering it even further. Not to mention that decreases resale value too, so it's just really hurting the wallet at this point. Oh man, coordinate it soon, that JSK would really suit you!!

Yes, I agree. Even though I buy the stuff to wear it, it is nice that it holds it's value so well so I never want to alter anything. I'm going to a high tea this weekend with some friends so I might wear my Royal Chocolate, but there will be food and I usually don't buy white because of my clumsiness so I'm a little afraid to wear it! Haha.
