I rarely put songs as titles to my looks but when I do, Its usually I love the song so much. Funny thing my sister even downloaded this song too without me knowing it. So when I was finally able to get the title and artist of the track (thanks to Direk Andoy for playing it during a scene that was filmed at a club) i couldnt stop playing it. Plus I immediatley searched for it in youtube and discovered a really cool video. Amazing electronic music, lyrics, video. And my obsession didnt stop there:)! I googled Zedd and he is one talented guy. It turns out he produced the dance hit for Justin Bieber feat Nicki Minaj which I also LOVE!!!!!
Anyways about the look:
I wore this to a recent fashion show and Its a layered look of sorts. The cropped blazer became like an overcoat but acts as a tux as well while the blazer inside(unlined) became like a secondary button down shirt. Love how the functions fo the garments are blurred purposely to create this new dynamic on layered dressing. Instead of a necktie I chose this o ring from the MArgiela x H&M collab which is just divine. Honestly compared to the usual looks I sport when I attend formal functions or fashion events this one is quite simple. But I love it. Change is always good especially when you embrace the unexpected:)
So what does the song have to do with the look. Well theyre connected. After the fashion show I went clubbing and wore this look. It was when I heard the song being played by the DJ and it really struck a chord. I even had last song syndrome on the way home. Perfect outfit to go with the perfects song.
