Hi fellow Lookbookers, hope you're all well and in the best of spirits.
Okay, so this is the third in my series of potential 'New Year's Eve' outfits... and I'm not gonna lie - I does like it, yes I does... but does you? Please let me know, I enjoy all your feedback, it is my favorite part of Lookbook, conversing with fellow style enthusiasts.
Okay, so a little bit about this outfit; this tuxedo suit is from the 2010 collaboration between H&M and Lanvin (by far my favorite menswear H&M collab).
I love shawl lapels, I think they're extremely classic and hark back to a golden era. Aside from this feature I love the color of the tux; midnight blue. Whilst black tie usually stipulates a black tuxedo, midnight blue is often chosen as a slightly unexpected choice, under artificial light it is said to look 'blacker than black'. Personally speaking I think it works wonderfully.
The shirt is a grandad collared tuxedo shirt with a ribbed placket and I think it makes the look pop. The ensemble is slightly more formal than the other two, but it is still extremely comfortable.
D.I.Y glitter shoes.
Okay let's do this.
