Taken on a sunny day in Elysian Park under a heavily graffitied, acropolis-esque structure that I stumped across while following what I think might have been a trail, wearing an outfit inspired mostly by the early morning realization that despite the relative heat I really, really wanted to layer (or at least wear a jacket). Oversized acid wash jacket + red denim= an almost new take on the Texas tuxedo (aka the pinnacle of American fashion).
Going back to Portland for the holidays was all kinds of wonderful, but I think I might have seen a little bit of snow up there. Plus, the school work has been piling up to a back-breaking extent this week, so I'm already looking forward to spring break. Some time ago my mom mentioned a particular longing for the tropics, specifically Hawaii, and I think a trip might just materialize. The promise of ceiling-less Jeep rides, waterfall excursions, and vanilla saved ice with red beans is more than enough to get me though the next 10 weeks of reading about non-coordinating signs and building facades-only 69 days to go.
