Now I know why they say “Save the best for last” – I was very happy to end my fashion week with Nanette Lepore’s show last Wednesday. No matter the season, one of Lepore’s aesthetic choices that make every collection cohesive, is her use of color – Even in the most minuscule way. This season demonstrated a lot of muted dark greens and purples, and Nanette played off of this trend well, however incorporated some {literally} out of this world bright metallic elements, making her signature style shine on even more. Channeling that spirit, I chose to wore a bright babydoll dress from her latest collaborative junior line L’Amour, which is available available at J.C Penney. But let’s face it: Nothing shined brighter than what came down the runway last week. You go Nanette!
