The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Last week, Splash SS13 Fashion League was the perfect interpretation of how the modern fashion can relate into different types of styles, and some sorts of breaking some goddamn fashion boundaries. In fashion, style creates a character once its well made and perfectly interpreted. During my early years of blogging and being the city’s style notorious, I had came up with different interpretation of style mood. Laborious, avant-garde, high-fashion, luxe or simply under-dressed. But come to think, people gets old (?), i know right? or simply I have lost my appetite to be crazy and a sucker of attention. Friends were asking me why the sudden change of taste, and somehow they’re missing it. The only simple explanation to that is; I’m done with it, what I am now is another step of what I can do in the future. So be it, and watch out for more surprises. Style is innate, don’t be stuck up with it. Nurture it, and be more better.
My look during the event is a fusion of the season’s trend- sporty-chic. I was supposed to wear something from a Spanish label Isaacymanu but got trouble with delivery which unfortuntely the package flew back to Barcelona without stepping on my doorstep. Though, luckily I found a piece from my current collection that I thought of perfect to the event. This jumper decorated with plexi-glass is just a striking piece, the sporty vibe with an edge give a good balance of what the season’s trend is all about. I paired with the woolen deconstructed shorts that ultimately gave a wide wave of silhouette, it totally fixed the city sportswear characteristic as a whole. I also enjoyed wearing my new Paul Smith brogues shoes, as much I enjoyed this kind of style.
