One of my go-to in-closet pieces is any one of my denim tops (there's long sleeve, jackets, even vests…I know) but I refuse to wear the Canadian suit on the reg so I usually stick to black or a bright color on bottom. I recently acquired these uber comfy orange jeans from Benetton and it was the perfect addition to my blossoming Spring wardrobe.
I chose one of my all time favorite cut-out blazers and layered it with an old collared denim shirt from the Gap rather than the usual slinky tank. I went with an orange jean because it just looks fresh against all the dark purples and blues already nestled away in armario de Cat. Because everything else I am wearing (aside from the two rings made by the jewelry designer I love most Misa Jewelry) is a throwback, it is proof that one simple piece can update your wardrobe and multiply your outfit options.
You hear that? That's the sweet sound of saving money.
