The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
t’s about time that I shot some photos around my new neighborhood. I love the street I live off of-Melrose Place. It’s so quaint and hidden and utterly enchanting which makes it a perfect place to shoot outfit photos. I have always loved the Peter Pan collar look, but this dress especially caught my eye because of the black lace collar, floral prints, and comfy cloth fabric.
It was particularly fun putting this outfit together because I decided to be a bit adventurous and combine lots of different colors and styles all together. The result? A colorful mix of vintage and trendy styles that surprisingly meshed together perfectly! I have learned over the years that not everything in your wardrobe has to “match” and that mixing a variety of contrasting items can in fact be fun and exciting.
These Madison Harding denim booties that I bought off Gilt were certainly an impulse buy and I wasn’t sure how they would look in person. Although they aren’t the easiest or most comfortable shoes to walk in, they are so cute and the zippers that line either side of them add a badass feel to these booties and the extremely high heel is so flattering for my legs!
I got this clutch at an auction for my mother’s charity a couple months ago and to be honest, I haven’t found the perfect outfit to wear it with until now. There is something so thrilling about pairing a certain accessory with an outfit that wouldn’t traditionally match but somehow ends up working so well! In this case, this stunning hot pink suede Natalia Brilli clutch adds such flavor and finesse to this outfit-making it instantly stand out. I love implementing vibrant colors into my wardrobe and this accessory sure does the trick!
BCBG Generation has been on my radar for quite some time, but I strolled into the store last week at the Century City Mall during my lunch break and was absolutely floored by the amazing inventory they had in stock. I wanted everything and when I mean everything I mean the rompers, dresses, hats, sunglasses, shoes, necklaces, bracelets…EVERYTHING! Not to mention, the prices were so affordable it was hard to walk out of there with less than five items. For example, these matte black rectangle sunglasses fit my face perfectly and only cost a whopping $23!!
I hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday-this warm weather is getting me so excited for summer! More photos to come but until next time…
