Part of the reason why I like to document my day to day sartorial experiments is because I like to understand my progression in my style choice. But even though I do that I don't really give it much thought when I'm at that moment of dressing. No peg or precursor decision to wear this particular piece or that. And even if I do I still end up wearing something else. I operate purely instinctively based on what I feel like wearing that time. Strangely, I'm getting a grunge vibe for this look above. Maybe because of the deconstructed Lanvin jacket paired with the kooky shades. Maybe because of the souvenir tee that I cut up the sleeves and neckline. Maybe the DM's helped. Maybe the careless abandon if the elements border on bad taste. Maybe. But I feel grunge. What do you think?

i love anything lanvin! so i had to wonder if u cut the sleeves or they were already like that. i'm not opposed to cutting lanvin sleeves because i have done that to a couple of my vintage lanvins for comfort ;p and this look is super grunge in a subtle way, like only you could pull off =]
