Lady-like and Faded Light

HYPE 72

There is something genuinely special about this dress that makes me feel so lady-like. It could quite possibly be the elegant black peter pan color draped around my neck or the fitted black and rose gold belt tied around my waist. I rarely ever wear belts but this Topshop one really brought together the whole outfit with its stunning bow in the center. I paired it with my new pointy toed Louis Vuitton heels that really enhanced the overall lady-like vibe this outfit gave off. It is very rare that you’ll see me sporting a low heel but in this case, they are so dainty and beautiful that I simply couldn’t resist!

When I first got this Burberry purse, I was a bit skeptical because of how gigantic it is in size, but I’ve actually grown to love it and carry it around when I need to take my laptop and/or I Pad places. It’s convenient and chic, which I’ve found to be a great combo!

When we shot these pictures on Melrose Place, it was getting pretty dark and the light was fading, causing us to feel nervous about the quality and outcome of the photos. It is with no surprise that my expert photographer (thanks mom) pulled it off with ease and the photos came out spectacularly in a spooky and mysterious way. We found this run down antique store and the old, dilapidated beige painted walls served as the perfect background for this outfit!

I hope everyone is having a fab Friday! More photos to come but until next time…

Xx,
Lindsay L Simon
