Finally the sun's decided to make a little appearance this week! Its good timing really as my life's started get a little less hectic and I had time to go on a little lunch date this weekend with my boyfriend Matt. We're quite lucky to live around the corner from Kennington Park which has a charming little English rose garden and a quaint little cafe which serves tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches etc; we decided to spend the afternoon there, picked up some lunch and had a nice walk while it was warm.
My outfit today is a little different from my usual style, it's rare I'm ever seen in trousers, never mind bright cobalt blue ones! I got these wide-legged tapered trousers from the Topshop sale, they actually looked nice on but when I look back at the blog pictures they make my bottom half look really short and wide! The changing room attendant told me they were supposed to look like this but now I'm not so sure! What do you think?
I've colour blocked the trousers with my bright lemon vintage short sleeved knit which I picked up at charity shop a few months ago. As for accessories, the glasses are from Next, we got them free in our gift bags and I absolutely love them and the bag I'm carrying is my trusty old panda bag; its perfect for fitting lots of things in! On my feet I'm wearing some old camel colour loafers from Urban outfitters and If you look closely you can see my foot tattoo which is of a Russian doll with roses; I hardly ever show my tattoos, simply because I forget I have them! They're not to everyone's taste (especially my dad) so I tend to wear tights all the time anyway.
