In the past when I’ve seen headbands like this lovely Coolie one in stores, I never really knew how it would actually look on my own head. I was pleasantly surprised when I put this one on as it’s the perfect mix of girly and trendy and fits the shape of my face in such a flattering way. I love the silk fabric and the black and beige print that encompasses this surfer chic band! I paired it with this plain casual black tee that transforms into a daring, long sheer cape and hangs in the back just above my ankles. I used to wear skinny jeans with belts all the time but have realized in the past year that I’ve strayed away from this style. There is something so “I am woman” about wearing a belt with tight black jeans-I can’t really explain it!
Since it’s officially spring, I found it fitting to pull out my favorite leather Dolce Vita wooden peep toe wedges that give me such height and have a really sexy strap that snakes around my ankles. This past weekend, I spent about two hours in the blazing heat browsing the Melrose Flea Market and came across such rare and delicate accessories made from scratch, such as these Flea Market Girl gold bracelets and JD Luxe rings. Only at flea market’s can you find one of a kind items with such beautiful and intricate details. Before shooting these pictures, my mom ran up to her room and grabbed me this long gold rabbit necklace she bought at Madewell a couple weeks ago. It’s safe to say she won’t be getting that back!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday and check out shopcoolie.com for more headbands like the one I’m wearing in all different styles to suit just about any occasion!
More pictures to come but until next time…
