I have a great dislike for outright fashion knock-offs, but I do love to find items inspired by some of my favourite pieces that are either unavailable or out of my price range. The Proenza Schouler PS11 Classic Textured-Leather shoulder bag has been high on my desire list for a ridiculously long time now but there is no way that I would ever pay 1365 British pounds for a handbag. When I chanced upon this #studded #satchel #bag on the #Nastygal website for only $35, to say that I was quite delighted would be an understatement. The satchel bag takes obvious inspiration from the PS11 bag with its chunky studded features and buckle-fastening front tabs, but still stands on its own as an individual design due to the way it implements these features. Similarly, when I was first introduced to Ryan Storer's #earcuff collection, it was love at first sight, however, upon checking out the website, I discovered that I was too slow and the ear cuff that I desired was sold out. Trolling around #UrbanOutfitters in the name of University study procrastination, I chanced upon this ear cuff of similar design for only $20. I find it strange how hard it is to find pieces inspired by the PS11 and Ryan Storer's ear cuff collection considering how highly sought after both items are, I can only say that I feel like one lucky girl to have found these pieces and i'm glad that I didn't come across any complete knock-offs in my search.
