The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Santa Monica empty at around 3pm yesterday, therefore I had no excuse but to stop into Buffalo Exchange on Main Street. Five dresses, two necklaces, one jumpsuit, two tops, a pair of shoes and a pair of earrings later, I was sufficiently ready to shoot a “vintage treasures” post (all of this under $160 might I add). Buffalo Exchange, like many vintage, second hand stores is often a hit or miss.
Sometimes I go in there and can’t find anything and am way too overwhelmed by the immense racks of unorganized items. Then, there are those other times I go in with the patience and excitement to sift through the inventory and try things on. Yesterday in fact, was one of those days.
I have been on the hunt for a cute and trendy jumpsuit for quite some time and when I came across this $13.50 one, I snatched it off the racks immediately! Considering it’s a tube top and has a simple print, I decided to pair it with a statement necklace like this pastel and gold colored chain piece that compliments not only my skin but this outfit as a whole.
Usually I don’t buy shoes at second hand stores for obvious reasons, but these high heeled suede black booties were too amazing to pass up.
Give me a pair of black ankle booties any day and I’ll be happy.
Happy Memorial Day to everyone and remember to be grateful for the troops! Be safe and more photos to come, but until next time…
