I’m a little embarrassed and borderline shocked that despite my love for discount shopping, I have never shopped at a T.J. Maxx store before last weekend. As I strolled aisle to aisle I quickly realized that I wanted everything…I mean everything they had to offer whether it was purses, clutches, shoes, jeans or dresses- I had it all thrown over my shoulder as I excitedly rushed to the dressing room.
I love how flirty and fun this Mimi Chica dress is and especially the yellow, brown and orange color combination. I also love how the dress is tied together by a messy bow in the back, revealing just the perfect amount of skin. I feel it’s so important to have a staple go-to summer dress in your closet for those days where you don’t want to put a ton of effort into your outfit or when you just need a comfortable beach cover up.
I love these red suede 80%20 booties and feel they were the perfect pair of shoes to wear with an outfit like this as they didn’t take the attention off of the dress. The wooden heel adds a lovely, casual feel to this outfit and also gives me some much needed height (as always)! I felt like this dress didn’t need much jewelry to make it stand out, so instead I threw on my favorite dark brown round rimmed hat from Henri Bendel in New York. This hat automatically brings an edge to any outfit I put together!
A week ago if you would’ve asked me if I was a “Maxxinista,” I probably would’ve laughed and shaken my head, but NOW I can confidently say I AM A MAXXINISTA! Happy Thursday…it’s almost the weekend! More photos to come but until next time…
