There are castles just strewn about Paris, as if it were normal to build castles in the middle of a national capital - which I suppose it is, or at least was at one time in the city's long history. But given that fact that I was raised in Canada, a country that is younger than my current apartment, I find it hard to adjust; to stop being surprised when I turn a corner and find myself face-to-face with what can only be called a palace. I don't walk down rue des Nonnains-d'Hyeres very often, and every time I do, I'm surprised by the Hotel de Sens all over again. And I have to admit, I never get tired of the feeling of being on an adventure in an unknown territory.
PS: Good news - my white jeans seem to have (finally!) come clean!
