Right before I found this scarf in a random vintage store in my hometown, I was in the middle of a rather cynical conversation regarding the death of romanticism in modern society. I found it rather ironic that it (in reference to it's cherubs, roses, and color scheme) seemed to represent such ideals that I was currently rejecting. I've been infatuated with it ever since.... Furthermore, the print reminds me of some of the pieces in the Rodarte fall/winter 2010 collection... and I bought it for less than the price of a latte, beautiful....
