Interesting. This look read very manish to me, the strong leg, muscular, especially in that position, the shoes, the hidden eyes. It's so strong that dress and the coat looked like drag.

hmm.. i never thought of it that way. we were thinking of it more as a quiet/strange sort of awkwardness to the position and the legs. i don't know whether to take this as a compliment or not...do i really look that manly =P ?!

I find it very striking and artful. It's a skillful photo and the editorial direction is strong. You don't look manly, you're lovely, what's manly is how all of the different elements come together to create this look. Taking you're self, your body and making it look this way is why I hyped it.
I also like how the legs are mirrored in the maniquin legs. It seemed a play on what's real and what isn't, what's reality and what's created, the model and persona of the look.
