The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
During the summer, I tend to stuff my jeans in the back of my drawers and bring out my skirts, shorts and little dresses. However, a staple pair of light washed skinny cropped jeans is an exception, especially these hip hugging Zara pants. I found these at a major sale at Zara last week and loved how they dropped to my ankle, making it possible to wear fun and flashy shoes. I’m super into graphic tees right now and tucking them into a pair of ripped jean shorts or skirts to bring a casual vibe to an outfit. I’ve worn these jeans for three different occasions prior to this shoot. I paired it with a simple tank top and little booties, a graphic Wildfox tee and a long sleeve sweater and belt for an outdoor movie screening.
I bought this shirt at Shop JOA on Melrose and although I fell in love with it immediately, I struggled to find something to wear it with. It wasn’t until I bought these pants that I thought-wow this would be a great pair of jeans to wear with my light blue and white floral blouse. I love how the shirt is a bit cropped so it exposes how sexy these high waisted jeans really are.
I paired this outfit with my favorite strappy white Aldo heels that I debated buying for the longest time! I don’t know what I was thinking because I should’ve bought them right away-they were on sale and I love the jewels and wooden heel! When I look at these shoes they remind me of the quientessential summer heels. Casual, but dressy at the same time.
Although it’s barely visible in these photos, I also wore a handmade and dainty Abacus Row necklace that I bought at the Renegade Craft Fair downtown this past weekend. I love simple necklaces as they are so subtle but really rest beautifully on my chest.
Happy Tuesday everyone!! More wardrobe posts to come but until next time…
