How many layers of outerwear is considered 'too much'? The more the merrier, I'd confess, though you may want to avoid coming across as over-aggressive with a mountain of woolen coats stacked over your shoulders... Here's a look where I played down a pool of filigree prints in gilded navy with unfailing solid cobalt.

Believe me when I say my cheeky, yet hopefully subtle, introduction of yellow isn't meant to do your head in. Again, the whole concept of 'too much, too little' can be frustrating. There's no secret - trust your own instincts. I did with mine when I brought out this print-galore favourite to romp around in.

Should I receive disapproving looks and brash insults for being an exhibitionist? No, of course I will never shove my snarky iPhone case into someone's face...

Anyway, I'm back in Perth. Let the email replying commence. Have a sweet start to the week, everyone!
