Dreaming of NYFW...
Since starting my blog it's not her, it's me. couple of years ago, I have met and connected with many brands, designers, influencers, and fellow bloggers through lookbook and other online social platforms. It would be a dream come true to be at NYFW among all of them. New York City is always magical. I am very lucky to have been there twice, once for traveling and once for a family occasion. My ultimate dream is to move there someday but for now I would love to be there for fashion week. I can only imagine it being absolutely surreal! Fashion is an integral part of my life. I have experimented with different trends and have loved adding my twist to each and every one. Dress accordingly and live stylishly. I wear what I want and dress how I feel because at the end of the day, it's not her, it's me.
About the outfit...
When I think of dressing for fashion week, I think of statement pieces that are chic and eye-catching but not seemingly desperate. I styled this look around three pieces of jewelry from Lulu Frost's Supernova collection - the Big Bang necklace, the Solar bracelet and the Orbit bracelet. They look great individually but even better altogether. Since the glass stones on the necklace are iridescent, I wanted to bring out the little tint of coral with these awesome pants. I thrifted these vintage high waisted wide-leg pants for THREE dollars, they are perfectly petite and fit like a dream (no alteration needed). And the best part is that they make me look super tall! Can you tell I am actually only 5'2"? Oh and how I love a statement clutch! This dalmation-leopard print clutch from Sole Society is amazing. I am especially digging the zippered sides that are expandable which give it a more interesting shape! I have sort of gone clutch crazy lately so you will be seeing plenty more fancy clutches real soon!
