The other day was 17-th of September - the day of Sofia. My mother works as a chief currator in Sofia History Museum all her life, so I grew up in the funds of the museum which include all kinds of vintage furniture, clothes, domestic items, home utilities, documents, photos, paintings, toys, posters etc., etc. All her colleagues consider me as a child of the museum, because I grew up in front of their eyes (as well as their children too). So, the Sofia History Museum is a logical participant in the annual events for this holiday, like old-fashioned reviews, themed exhibitions, participation in different tv and radio shows and so on.
These photos are not new - they are from last year's participation in a show on the Bulgarian National TV (BNT 1), but I found this year's occasion a good reason to post them.
Do you like this fine golden embroidery, this feminine silhouette and the elegance of the fashion from the beginning of 20-th century? I feel like a real lady, wearing these fashion masterpieces!
