I created this all-black monstrosity with inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe's spooky creation: "The Raven." Everything I am wearing, aside from my boots, I have handmade. First, I sewed the knit dress with long sleeves and added wings with the same fabric. Next I added all the feathers to the bottom half, and faux fur to the chest. The last step was to create the mask. I completely transformed a simple, craft-store, white mask by painting it and glueing as many feathers as I could fit onto it. Halloween is definitely my favorite day of the year and I love to go as crazy as possible. :)

You look incredible. I can't imagine the time and talent it must have taken to make this.
