Instead of throwing them out, I was able to repair these thrifted boots I'd worn almost to pieces. I originally got them three years ago at the East Village thrift shop on the corner of 1st Ave and 12th street. Here I am in costume for a late Hallowe'en my friends and I celebrated November 2. I'm not really sure who I "am"... The red 60s wig suggested the white gloves from Housing Works, and the boots give it a superhero vibe. A superhero secretary from the 60s?
