"I'm wearing green ruffled shorts and hoping for a rainbow that doesn't require rain, or a pot of gold that doesn't require a rainbow...or that some drunken Irishman doesn't mistake me for a leprechaun. That's always a little awkward." -Me "going green" with green shorts for St. Patty's Day, and me "going green" by recycling my quote from Thursday.
This is what I wore to celebrate good ol' St. Patrick, since I don't partake in any of the boozing or puking up green beer in the middle of the sidewalk...at 4pm...in a kilt. (Yes, that did actually happen to quite a few middle aged men in NYC two days ago.)
I collect vintage button covers, and this fancy button cover is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. It has two angels at the top, a clear plastic jewel in the middle, and a clock, key, and ballet shoe dangling down.
And yes, I had to wear two bras because one gives more support, but the other one gives more coverage, so there's no nipple action going on.
Also, sorry about the photos. I wish I had a better background than my tiny Brooklyn apartment room, but I only like taking pictures with my tripod and that's kind of embarrassing to use in front any other human being. So since I have roommates now, it's a little harder to get a less cluttered shot. But hopefully I will suck it up and take some pictures outside from now on since it's getting nice out! 70 degrees in NYC baby!! :)
