The peplum skirt is nothing new, but this leatherette and laser cut skirt from St. Frock puts a totally fresh and unique spin on it! I love how the leatherette fabric creates a biker chic edge yet the intricate laser cuts adds a pretty girly touch, for a perfect contrast. I'm not really the type to have a heap of leather pieces in my wardrobe, but this unique skirt design was just too pretty to resist :) The laser cut panel detailing is even more striking on the cream/black version of the skirt. The You can wear it with a lightweight cami or bustier for a form-fitted look, and pop a cropped jacket over the top to keep warm!
St Frock is an Australian boutique with a great range of on-trend pieces. They offer only $5 express shipping Australia wide too :) Check them out here: bit.ly/1iUgtxq
Some of you guys were curious as to how my photos turned out with my new camera gear, which I used in these pics! I recently bought a Canon 6D body and a Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens. I think I'm pretty happy with how the combo works with close-up shots, but as for full length pictures....I'm not too ecstatic! There could be a number of different things going on though such as not-so-optimum lighting and there's all these settings I haven't had the time to fiddle around with properly yet. Hopefully I get more time this weekend to play around with all the settings...and bring out the true strength of my new camera gear!
