This past weekend I was overly anxious to get to the #beach. However, Mother Nature had other plans. San Diego natives experience a Seattle-like gloom in the late spring and early #summer; this is referred to as June Gloom. The sun-seeker are known to avoid southern California beaches in the late #spring because the gloom often darkens the coastal skies of sunny southern #California. During this time, the coastal clouds may remain all day but often give way to some hazy afternoon #sunshine.
Lucky me, this was my beach day, but nothing could stop me from enjoying the coast and dressing for the occasion in my favorite #palmtree print #pants. Don't worry, each day following greeted me with bright sunshine before my departure.
