There is a lot of history behind this dress. Relatives from New Zeland send it to my mum as a gift....30 years ago!

That dress still looks as good as new, and no wonder - there are no fabrics like they used to make them once... I know how it feels to wear such a vintage piece - I used to wear a dress that belonged to my grandmother and my mom inherited later, but the fabric was pure silk that my grandfather brought for my grandmother from China! It was 50 years old and in perfect condition when I could last fit in it about 10 years ago.
Anyway, yours looks wonderful on you and still has so much style!

The fabrics are not what they used to be...the quanitity of today's clothing sadly resulted in lack of quality...but it is inevitable perhaps in modern production.
