This season, we all seem to be looking at life through trendy rose-coloured spectacles.
So while my unbreakable colour palette will remain a classic neutral playground, now and then, well here, I can connect with my semi-sweet side in #prettypastels. I wouldn't dare call it girly though - yuck. To me it's more soft with a side order of edge. Or hang on. A full portion of edge in a deceivingly sweet shade. Yes - that's the one.
The sweetly seductive shade of pink, thanks to the likes of Carven and Marc Jacobs, is major in lending that chic solution to our monochromatic rainbow this season. And as the "law" states - On Wednesdays We Wear Pink, in my own cheeky law-abiding manner I did it monotonously. And although it wasn't an actual Wednesday, I borrowed the stellar shade to candy-coat my #edgy heart.
How? With a #powderpastel knit from Cotton On, amped up by a shimmery iteration of this mildly #metallic pink structured skirt from Mr P.
A soft and minimal interpretation on the powder pink hue, I'd say, yes ?
