I recently moved to Mexico City for about 2 months (hopefully more) and although it isn’t the longest or the most “far away from home” moving, simply separating from what you are used to in life, it’s a quite a challenge.
I have wanted to move out for a while now, but for one or many reasons I haven’t done it yet, so when the opportunity came, to move to another city to study and become a better blogger, I didn’t hesitate.
Perhaps many people will think I’m exaggerating because I’m only away for two months; but to me, it means many things… I firmly believe that a home; no matter where it is, is a “home” when you make it yours, a place where you can be yourself without restriction, where you’re so happy to buy all your stuff and home decor, where you try your best to keep it lovely, cozy and clean in case someone visits you, but above all... a place where you grow, you feel safe, comfortable but especially where you can learn about yourself.
The truth is that I only brought my clothes and my computer, I have basically nothing in my new home, but I think that’s what makes it even more special, the fact that I can start from scratch and learn many things about me, about the woman I am and the woman I want to become, so… Welcome home guys! <3
