I bought this dress.. probably around 2 years ago. I dug it out of the back of my closet the other day. I use to LIVE in really vintage dresses and boots (2 yrs ago-ish) I miss it.

Well you should definitely bring back those boots and vintage dresses lady cause you look amazing! Your dress is a) stunning on you b) just the kind of gem I'm hoping to one day come across at Value Village- I leave there with far too many black pieces.
Jenn Saliga
agh! that's what i've been doing for the past YEAR. All i ever find there are decent black articles of clothing. Nothing "fun" anymore. I moved though, and the VV near me is HORRIBLE, there's literally never anything. I miss the old one I use to go too, it never seized to amaze me.
S .
Thank god I'm not the only one! I don't think it's us! It's the VV's were going to! lol! I went to two yesterday (I live in Montreal) and I was desperately looking for a mustard yellow dress or a shift I could make a dress our of and I left with 7 black pieces! I was like "i need to take a break from VV for a while in the hopes that when I return i'll leave with some colour!" And another thing that drives me mad is that some pieces are pricey! There were two items I bought yesterday that were $13-15 and when I got to the cash and the total came up to $50 you should have seen the reaction of the guy behind me! lol! he's like holding $5 jeans and thinking to himself- who spends $50 at VV?! And i'm basically thinking the same thing because at the Salvation Army it's like half the price you would pay for anything at VV. lol.
Anways....here's to more colour in our VV shopping carts ;)
xx

I KNOW, I don't get how they're raising prices so much. Sometimes you can find cheaper items at a mall (but thats besides the point)..
I don't have a car, so It's super hard for me to scope out better thrift shops, I'm dying here! And I totally feel your pain. I've went into VV planning on picking up a pair of shoes or accessory and walked out $80 poorer. I hate when that happens.
