The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Lately, I've been too busy to stop and take a photo of my outfit..... sooooooo I'm posting this! :) It's a jumpsuit from our summer collection. Isn't the print great? My bestfriend bought one of these. She had quite a dilemma figuring out where to wear this to. I said I'd wear it on a lazy Sunday to the mall or something. She was so shocked by my answer. She felt that the jumpsuit is too dressy and loud for a lazy Sunday to the mall. But I feel otherwise. Onesies/jumpsuits/rompers + flats will always be lazy casuals for me. They're just so laidback!
Anyway, this month was a month of firsts for me. Aside from our Makati store/office, we've already opened our other branch, the one inside a mall. It's actually just a soft opening but it's still very exciting for me and my sister. :) The place is called Runway: Designers' Alley. It's actually sort of part of the Robinsons Department Store in Robinsons Place Manila (Ermita), except they made the space totally different from the rest of the department store. They wanted Runway to be within the Department Store but still differentiated from the usual since the target market of Runway is the upper class. It has it's own entrance conveniently located at the newly renovated wing of Robinsons called the Midtown Wing, where the rest of the stores with the same target market are located (like Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Mango, The Face Shop, Fox, Marks and Spencer, etc.). Out of the 5 stores in Runway, we're the ONLY rookies, so needless to say, we feel so honored to be even considered by such a renowned company. And it's good we're starting with Robinsons, because we're learning a lot. They're super strict with everything, which I like. Oh! And we have bar codes! Hahaha I know it sounds shallow and trivial to get all excited about bar codes, but everything just feels so official now. It's nice to see how we're slowly evolving from a mom-and-pop business into an organized business with a proper system, complete with official rules and policies, memos, MOAs, contracts, etc. I feel like a parent watching her baby grow up. *tear*
