Feels like I've ventured down south, contradictory up the mountain, smack bang right in the 70's.
A close friend moved into his new apartment, which if you're familiar with Cape Town, he lives in one of the three towers just below Table Mountain. They call it the tampon towers. You can spot them from miles away and you can guess what they look like. I decided to explore and take some snaps, little did I know quickly I would fall in love with this place. Try picturing vintage South Africa from late 60's - early 70's style architecture and landscaping. It looks as if it's been untouched and it's upkeep is incredible. There's a sense of vintage nostalgia as you walk through the courtyard and look up towards the mountain. I'll definitely be visiting more often and probably overstaying my welcome. Sigh, the struggles of living in the north are real for sure.
