Believe it or not, that beige lacy…thing, is a leotard. It awkwardly snaps at the crotch, which makes it perfect to wear “tucked in†to, well, anything! I bought it at Urban Outfitters for only $10…yes, you read right…TEN dollars. Why? well, I discovered why when I got to the register to pay. There was a tear in the side, kind of near the armpit. I, being the barterer that I am, tried to see if I could get even more knocked off, but failed. I was pleased however, what a deal! Right? [I was able to hide the tear with mediocre sewing]
The skirt is a whole different story. Three weeks before purchasing that skirt, I went into Zara for the first time with my best friend Hannah and fell in LOVE with this jersey knit navy skirt. It was eye appealing, but unfortunately not priced right for me. [$40]…don’t you think that’s a bit much for a jersey type article? Anyways, I went back to see if the skirt was on sale, and it happened to be sold out. In fact, the employees I talked to acted like they’d never even seen that style skirt in navy. I ended up settling for that $20 skirt….xs [eek!] yes, it’s a little hard to put on and remove…take that back, it’s VERY hard to remove, and I’m often terrified of stretching it, but so far so good..
