Becoming a Style Consultant for the all-new start-up fashion retailer, Board of Directors, means more than pulling sizes and stocking shelves. We are building a community of fashion enthusiasts who exude the essence of our Brand’s target audience – creative, driven, passionate, entrepreneurial, chic young women who seek the best of price-friendly fashion, beauty and wellness.

In joining our team for this month’s launch of Board of Directors’ first store, a flagship on Broadway in Soho, you will be trained by top stylists and support the marketing and branding sides of the business as well.

It feels like new fashion brands are launching every day while existing brands are fading into the shadows of irrelevancy at an even faster clip. We are keenly aware that achieving true market awareness, consideration and engagement with our core audience will depend on the strength of our team. Hence why we are looking for sales associates who will launch with us, build with us and grow with us over the long term.

Role Mission
To provide customers with top quality service by meeting their needs and expectations. Increase brand loyalty by communicating the philosophy and the culture of the Brand as “Board of Directors’ ambassador".

Key Accountabilities

Serve customers accordingly with Board of Directors' selling ceremony
Discuss with clients and give advices on general trends in the fashion world and developments within the market, showing passion for fashion, beauty and wellness.
Provide an exceptional customer service experience by greeting, listening and assisting customers in exceeding their needs, demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the products as well as of Board of Directors’ mission
Build and strengthen relationships with customers by putting the customers at ease
Ensure the achievement of individual and store goals, enhancing and developing the business
Foster open and constructive communication with team members, being always collaborative and proposing effective solutions
Contribute to manage the visual display of the products in accordance with Board of Directors’ visual standards
Ensure the products replenishment and physical inventory of merchandise

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within fashion retail companies
Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store result
Deep passion for fashion and luxury
Excellent commercial awareness and customers attitude
High flexibility and ability to adapt to different customers
Team-player mentality
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment
Fluent in English
